You Can Make a Difference.
Clever Octopus is supported by wonderful people like you. Thank you for your support and financial contributions.
Help us reach our goal!
We are fundraising to bolster our community outreach! We hope to continue our efforts in senior centers and youth programming, from remote learning activity kits to digital instruction, mini-grants and offering free art supplies in our OctoBox.
Vulnerable populations may find themselves isolated under normal circumstances, and the pandemic has only exacerbated this seclusion. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to alter our lives, many organizations are struggling to serve their respective communities with restricted budgets. Clever Octopus needs your help in order to provide remote learning opportunities for these organizations, particularly senior centers and youth organizations.

WHO WE ARE
As a nonprofit and Utah's only creative reuse center, we strive to foster environmental awareness and make art and craft supplies accessible to our community. Your donation will allow us to continue offering a sliding scale payment option for our STEAM programming, free art supplies in our outreach OctoBox, and donations to countless community organizations we partner with.
Haven't heard of us before? Clever Octopus is a creative reuse center, which extends the life of clean and usable materials that were otherwise destined for the landfill.
We sell gently used art and craft supplies, thrifted items and oddities for a fraction of the retail price. This makes art making accessible.
Clever Octopus began as two artists Jen Lopez and Sheri Gibb sought to challenge the status quo of art education. Through our programming we hope to foster environmental awareness through art in young people.
From a mobile truck to a new warehouse building with shop and boutique, the organization has grown immensely since its inception. At Clever Octopus we aim to reimagine not only how art is made, but how we can reimagine our place in consumption.
